A FEARFUL EPISODE
Jurham was the name of the very first Arab tribe which settled in Makkah during the childhood of Hadhrat Ismaaeel (alayhis salaam). At that time the city of Makkah had not yet developed. In this tribe was an evil woman by the name of Naa-ilah and an evil man whose name was Asaaf.
A DANGEROUS CONCLUSION
In the aftermath of the collapse and dismantling of the Taliban government in Afghanistan, supporters of the Islamic Taliban government o¬n account of the heartfelt agony and grief which overcame them, presented a variety of excuses so as to provide balm for their grieving hearts. Undoubtedly, it is not easy for sincere Muslims who believed that the Taliban stood for true Islam , to come to terms with the humiliating defeat of the Taliban.
40 AHAADITH ON MUSIC
(1) Hadhrat Abu Maalik Ash'ari (radhiyallahu anhu) says that he heard Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) say: "Most certainly, there will be in my Ummah people who will make lawful fornication, silk, liquor and musical instruments." (Bukhaari)
(2) In another version of this narration, Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: "Most certainly, people from my Ummah will consume liquor which they will describe with some other name. Over their heads will be playing musical instruments and singing girls.
